What is SEO?

SEO is search engine optimization, which is practice of increasing the quality and quantity of traffic on your website via organic search engine results.



What is Keyword?

A search query which have some volume is called as Keyword.

How SEO works?

You usually use a search engine for browsing like Google, yahoo or Bing etc. whatever the search engine is used, replies with a long list of weblinks to your question. Google has a crawler that gather required information. The crawlers bring 0s and 1s to search engine to built an index.



Quality of traffic:

You can attract visitors or increase visitors by paying, than your website will be ranked first.

Organic results:

Organic is that traffic that you don’t have to pay for.

HUBSPOT is a software company that provides various services and products depending on need of certain business. Hubspot provides sub-services along with core offering. Below is an example of how HubSpot has used a key phrase targeted landing page, to improve SEO and lead generation.

First, note that the heading of the page is phrased almost exactly as someone would type into a search bar. A small business owner might also be searching for terms like “creating graphics that convert,” or “graphic design for lead generation,” etc.

This leads potential customers to their site that may not be looking for their software solution now, but will gain knowledge, brand equity, and potentially convert into a lead for future nurturing.

By location SEO:

Many searchers use location key phrases when they are searching. This company is located in Cleveland Ohio, so having landing pages for things like Cleveland SEO, Cleveland Web Design, and similar are important as well.


On page and Off page SEO

On page seo is directly related to website, here client’s website is optimized and is made search engine friendly. It can be done by using keywords and placing them at right location and by using them in content rightly.

Off page seo is related to increasing the popularity of website. It involves acquiring backlinks. The backlinks should be acquired from same niche to prove that the website is authentic. Criteria for acquiring backlinks are number of backlinks, quality of backlinks, and same niche.
